Instagram has consistently tried to improve its platform and add new features and tools to its stories. Earlier this week, rumours circulated that Instagram’s working on new ‘Nametag’ scannable codes to connect users to profiles, while the platform also officially released its “Focus Portrait” mode for selfies and videos just a week ago. Now, WABetaInfo reports that Instagram is also developing a new Q and A sticker option for Stories, which would allow users of the platform to pose a question within the Stories flow, but the response to that query would be private. As is visible above, the new Q and A sticker would be another option in your Stories tools and differs from the existing Poll stickers, in that the responses wouldn’t necessarily have to be multiple choice, while the results, as noted, would be sent privately. Facebook has recently been making some significant changes with an aim of becoming a more evident, cross-platform player. It’s all down to a new capability that allows users to cross-post an Instagram story to their Facebook profile. Simply put, you can now send your videos to both platforms with a single post. As of yet the feature only works in one direction, Instagram to Facebook. However, Facebook has said it has ‘not ruled out’ a Facebook Story that can be cross-posted onto Instagram. This is an update that could potentially cause quite a stir on social media and have enormous implications and advantages for Business users. It will allow companies to make much better use of their Instagram stories by also promoting them on their Facebook page, an option previously not available. This is not in a Test or Trial stage (that is what was happening the past month in…
