However, with modern data encryption and security techniques, it seems that mobile banking is safe. What is mobile banking? Mobile banking is a service provided by a bank or other financial institution that allows its customers to conduct financial transactions remotely using a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet. Unlike the related internet banking it uses software, usually…

It is indeed the news of the week when it comes to domains and how Brexit will slowly start having an effect on companies and individuals in the UK. If you are a UK sysadmin who owns a .EU domain, it will be taken away from you on 31st March 2019 in a no-deal Brexit scenario (and in any case, on 1st January 2021 if get a deal in place). According to the European Commission’s Notice to Stakeholders the only certainty is that UK entities will not be able to register or renew .eu domains. As for existing registrants, it merely states that the registry will be “entitled to revoke such domain names on its own initiative”. The brexit notice from EURid seems to suggest they’re just exploring the options at the moment. The European Commission issued a notice to stakeholders concerning the .eu domain names registered by UK residents. The notice…

At its core, resistance to change is a label we apply to people who seem unwilling to accept a change. But for the most part, it isn’t the change itself that people resist. People resist change because they believe they will lose something of value, or fear they will not be able to adapt to the new ways. The first step is for individuals, companies or even societies to be able to acknowledge the benefits of change and why or how they desire it to happen. This is one of the main reasons why Disruptor companies often struggle to “break” the market or make an immediate impact through their marketing channels despite hefty budgets being spent. It is incredibly fun to be the disruptor, but it isn’t easy. There will be plenty of cynics and trolls. So, what should marketers do when they are marketing a disruptive product or service? I have worked with several technology companies…

As Uber and Tesla have had to learn the hard way, it only takes a little bad press or negative exposure from mainstream media and public trust towards autonomous vehicles goes straight ..”out of the window”. Ford has taken that lesson to heart, claiming recently that it would rather instill confidence in self-driving cars than be first to produce them or introduce them to the market. In a letter to the US Department of Transportation (DoT) and 44-page report called “A Matter of Trust,” the automaker detailed how it plans to safely test its self-driving vehicles on public roads whilst obviously also using this to instill trust in their customers that their safety comes first. Why such focus on trust specifically? The death of a pedestrian involving a Uber self-driving vehicle with a safety driver in particular had a very negative impact on public’s opinion of self-driving cars. Prior to that, 44% of US adults said…
